E-Baraka Togo

Togo is a West African nation covering 56,785 km². Located between Ghana, Benin, and Burkina Faso, it stretches approximately 600 km from north to south, with a 56 km sandy coastline along the Atlantic Ocean. The country is crossed by several rivers and features diverse landscapes, with a predominantly tropical climate. Togo has an estimated 9 million inhabitants, and its capital is Lomé. Administratively, the country is organized into 5 regions, 39 prefectures, 117 municipalities, and 393 cantons.

The official language is French, alongside widely spoken local languages such as Ewe in the south and Kabyè in the north. Religious life in Togo is diverse, with traditional beliefs coexisting alongside Abrahamic religions. Togo’s economy is heavily dependent on agriculture, which employs more than 70% of the active population, as well as on trade. Major commercial hubs include the Grand Marché de Lomé, a key marketplace in the capital. The country also serves as a regional logistics hub, notably through the Port autonome de Lomé, which plays a strategic role in West African trade.

Our mission is to contribute to the sustainable strengthening of the economic, social, and cultural capacities of communities through the promotion of inclusive, equitable, and environmentally responsible development. We aim to foster community empowerment and local resilience, ensuring that development efforts generate lasting and self-sustaining impact. Our core strategic pillars are :
1. Inclusive Socio-Economic Development and Environmental Protection. We promote economic opportunities that benefit vulnerable populations while ensuring responsible natural resource management and environmental sustainability.
2. Education, Culture, and African Innovation. We support access to quality education, the promotion of cultural heritage, and the development of locally grounded innovation ecosystems that reflect African realities and aspirations.
3. Cooperation and Participatory Social Dialogue

We encourage collaborative governance models, strengthen partnerships, and facilitate inclusive dialogue among communities, institutions, and stakeholders to ensure shared ownership of development initiatives. Through these pillars, we work toward a resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking Togo—where growth translates into opportunity for all.
